Our Airbnbs are booked almost every week however, sometimes we have last-minute availability, and our properties go empty without any guests.
These properties were built to be enjoyed by others, not to sit empty.
When we have last-minute availability I usually let friends and family stay at the property.
All I ask is they help us cover our expenses so we don't lose money. This will generally result in a discount of 70% to 90% off the standard nightly rate.
Normally I only share these deals with friends and family.
